Structural steel and pipe are made twice when they’re made wrong.

Fabrication — structural work and steel pipe — is a chain of cutting, forming, welding and coating where almost every loss is a rework you meet at inspection: a yield lost at the table, a joint that fails NDT, a coat that fails DFT, a hydrotest that sends a pipe back. Munshi keeps the machine reading and the welder’s or inspector’s log on the same clock, so the repair traces to the joint, the tool and the shift that made it.

Your ERP logs what left each stage — plates cut, metres welded, pipes coated.

It won’t tell you how many came back, or that the repairs all trace to one procedure and one shift.

Why the gap exists

The line

Every stage, and what leaks inside it.

Follow the steel. Each stage below is where a particular loss hides — and where Munshi surfaces it with the cause joined from the floor.

Cutting

Yield lost to nesting and rework, and consumables nobody tracks per plate.

Forming & bending

The piece that came off the rolls to size — the second time.

Welding

The weld metres you logged, and the ones that quietly went back.

Fit-up & assembly

Delays and mismatches that never book as downtime.

Surface prep & coating

The coat that went on, and the part of it that went on twice.

Inspection & QC

NCRs and hydrotest fails that keep tracing to the same joint.

Get started

Start where you already suspect a loss.

Cutting, welding, coating — pick the stage that bothers you and see it against a month you already know.
